How Much Does a Video Cost?

There are many factors that go into the cost of a video. Two items that drive costs up are the number of days taping, travel and the length of video that you are looking to produce. We have produced videos from $5,000 to over $100,000. If you are looking to have a video produced, give a call today or fill out a form and will gladly provide you with a quote.

How Many Revisions Do I Get?

We give our clients a rough cut, fine cut and final cut for each video we produce. Although it isn't a hard and fast rule but we do try to stick to this with each project.

How Do I Get Started on Making My Video?

The first thing to do is to discuss the why, what and how of the video. An initial meeting followed up with a short creative brief will help get the mission, objectives and intended audience in place.

We Are Not Located in the DC Area. Is This an Issue for Production?

This is not an issue at all. We have clients from all over the country and even around the world. Technology and our bandwidth of production crews has changed the way we do business globally.

What Is the Process to Get a Video Produced?

To get a video produced we break it down into a three-step process. The first step is Pre-production. This is where the meetings, phone calls, scripting and storyboards are created. The next step is Production. This is where the video crew captures the story from a variety of locations. The final step is Post-Production. This is where the editing, music, graphics and the final videos are produced.

What Format Will I Receive My Video Files?

We deliver all types of video files for websites, social media platforms, digital signage, cable, broadcast and streaming outlets.

What Kind of Equipment Do You Use?

We use whatever video and editing equipment that is best for your project. We tailor the equipment and crew to meet each client's needs and production level. Technology is constantly evolving and we use the latest equipment once it hits the market.

What Can I Can Do to Make the Process Easier?

It is always helpful when a potential client sends us other video samples of the type of video or animation they may want to produce. This helps us see the production quality and the type of "look and feel" they may be looking for.

What Is the Length of One Production Day?

Our normal production days are ten hours long. With a 30 minute lunch break there of course. :)

What Is the Typical Turnaround Time?

The typical turnaround time for a video depends on the complexity of the production. We have turned videos around in 2-3 days but normally you are looking at 2-4 weeks from start to finish.

What Is Better, Animation or Live Action?

Animation is great for explaining technical or complex messages in a short amount of time. It also tends to have a longer shelf life than live action. Live action video is great because you get to see and hear the visuals of the particular person talking or see the real environment of that company or organization.

Do You Add Voice Overs and Music?

Yes. We cast voiceover talent and search for music for each video we produce.
